In a world overflowing with information, keeping track of the content that matters to you can be daunting. In this guide, we’ll show you how to create your first personalized mailbox with Tipp.

Step 1: Sign Up and Set Up Your Account

The first step is to sign up for a Tipp account. If you haven't done that yet, head over to our sign up page to get started. Once that is done, you can use the application on your iOS or Android device. You can find the links to your stores right here.

Step 2: Add a new tag

After setting up your account, navigate to the Queue tab. Here, you’ll see a ‘+’ icon at the top left of the screen. Tap this icon to create a new tag. Select ‘mailbox’ as the tag type. Give an intuitive name to the tag, since Tipp will refer to this as a topic to create podcasts (eg. morning brew, internal communication, tech crunch, ...).

Once this is done a new tag will appear on top of the Queue screen with a new mail address. To get the address of the mailbox that was just created for you, press the tag name that you created. You'll see an email address on there that you can copy paste.

From now on you can share mails with this e-mail address and they will end up on your Tipp account. This account is personal and linked to your own Tipp account.

Step 3: Add an article from the feed to your queue

Next, forward the emails you want to track to your new Tipp mailbox. This could include newsletters, important work communications, or any other content you want to stay on top of.

Tipp will automatically organize these emails and prepare them for conversion into podcast episodes.

Step 4: Create a podcast and get informed

As your mailbox fills up, you can manage the content and decide what you want to listen to. Go to the ‘Editor’ tab to view the emails and content collected in your mailbox. When you're ready, select the emails you want to convert and press the play button. Tipp will start generating a podcast episode from the selected content.

Once the episode is created, it will be available in the ‘Podcast’ tab for you to listen to at your convenience.
